Jason is a highly experienced and dedicated podiatrist whose skills incorporate all aspects of podiatry but has a special interest in acute/chronic heel injuries and rehabilitation.
Jason has been working in the podiatry industry since 2010 and is a graduate of the University of South Australia. He has worked for a number of private practices in Adelaide with a particular focus on biomechanics.
During his studies, he achieved Merit Awards for academic excellence and is a Golden Key International Honour Society member. He enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research and learning about new technologies and treatment modalities for heel pain such as Shockwave Therapy and High Power Laser. Jason is Endorsed for Scheduled Medicines allowing him to prescribe medications and is currently mentoring another podiatrist.
He has extensive knowledge in lower limb biomechanics, strapping, stretching and customised prescription orthotics. He has also been trained in advanced Western acupuncture/dry needling techniques and mobilization of the foot.
Jason’s passion for podiatry is derived from positively influencing the lives of others and allowing them to perform the activities they love. He implements treatment plans specifically tailored to each individual patient, which have long-term benefits.
Jason has two special interests in podiatry, namely:
- Heel Pain
- Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)
Jason and his wife Mijoo have a young family with 2 children (Jacob and Sophie). Nowadays he enjoys playing with the kids at playgrounds and teaching/encouraging the little ones.
Jason’s personal interests include travelling, hiking around the many trails surrounding Adelaide, and playing basketball.
